Pepper Choplin

Pepper served Greystone Baptist Church in Raleigh until 2013 when he became a full-time composer. Recently, he served as interim at Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church in Raleigh for almost two years and now serves at Hayes Barton Baptist Church.
Pepper has 350 anthems and 24 cantatas in print in addition to “Come to the Water”, which is in the Celebrating Grace hymnal. Many of you have attended one of his Together We Sing choral concerts at Meymandi Auditorium, where he conducts a mass choir of singers from many area churches. He is also the conductor of Cary Community Choir which sings Messiah each December. In May, he was at Carnegie Hall to conduct his cantata, Our Father, in his eleventh New York concert.
